Be the connection between customers and technicians. As an advisor you will represent our shop face-to-face with our customers, understanding their concerns and being able to communicate that with the technicians in the shop.
You’re focus in the first 2 years as a heavy duty technician will be learning the basics, building safe habits, understanding tools, terminology and applying skills with proper coaching to complete daily tasks. 1st year you’ll be learning the industry, teamwork, communication, and safe work practices. Before reaching 3rd year you will transitioning from “learning the basics” to “being productive.” Your confidence in the shop will grow, while being coached by experienced technicians
Within these years you’ll become a go-to person for certain tasks. Start thinking like a journeyperson, planning work, anticipating problems, and understanding the “why” behind procedures. Transitioning into the end of your apprenticeship you will become a fully functioning Journeyperson and ready to take full responsibility of your work/duty in the shop.
Lead the shop through your experience in the heavy duty industry. Test your knowledge everyday through timely repairs and diagnostics. Responsible for the flow of the shop floor and bays. Use the skills and knowledge you’ve gained over the years to help teach apprentice’s in the shop.
Whether you’re looking to gain experience or you’re confident in your detailing abilities. Our wash bay is perfect for people that always want to be on the move and strive for perfection through every job. You’ll be in charge of cleaning/washing rental units after they are returned by customers, prepare units for the sales lot and freshen up units that are sold by sales.
